Onward Christian Soldiers!

2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

My wife and I both came from very worldly back rounds. We both enjoyed alcohol and drugs and lifestyles that come with that before we became believers. I think of all the awful things we did -- yet God chose to forgive us and cleanse us. And then allowed us to know Him and serve Him in holiness.

There is really no good reason that God should have taken us under His wing. But He did. That's why He died -- that each one of us might be forgiven, cleansed, and serve Him in holiness.

It just goes to show that God doesn't call the qualified -- He qualifies the called!

Be encouraged today. Nothing you have done can separate you from His love and His calling upon your lives. Go forth in power today!
